Anne Klein

The line of Anne Klein originally began in the early sketches she did, which later turned into a design of women’s sportswear and apparel as she grew in fame and prestige. Anne Klein was formally established in 1968 and continued past her passing and is currently owned by the well known Jones Apparel Group. Anne Klein passed away on March 19th, 1974 due to breast cancer, which she had fought strongly against to overcome. She continues to this day to be a strong figure in history for women to continue the fight against breast cancer and to never give up hope that one day will be the last time a woman will ever have to succumb to cancer. Out of the many people who have been lost to breast cancer in the past she was one of the more influential figures when it came to fashion and will always be known for such and as a powerful figure who worked hard to overcome her circumstances.

Anne Klein was held not as a revolutionary but as an evolutionist, who made many items fashionable that had not previously been considered fashionable like leather and suede. This began to change the market as it was known and later develop into lines that have become known throughout the fashion world. In 2000, Anne Klein launched Anne Klein 2 in order to compete with the new millennium. This latest line has the attraction of being far more affordable than other lines and even the Anne Klein line while still offering the same attractive appeal and quality that has come to be expected from Anne Klein.

Anne Klein has a traditional look that has changed throughout the years to evolve and continue with the times, yet does not attempt to change the market but instead provide an older more distinguished look that has a new twist. This allows either the very modern or traditional and classic woman to find something in this lines that is to their liking. When older styles mix with newer styles it also means that you have a line that is ready to be worn by any person of any age and will still look flattering and attractive.

When you look at many of the newer fashion lines you realize how much skin seems to show ad some items continue to show more but with the Ann Klein lines you can expect to look classy in anything that you wear and yet have the attention caught of the people you would like to have your clothing or look catch the attention of.
