However, after being purchased by Liz Claiborne in 2006, the company began outsourcing much of its manufacturing to East Asia. At that time, the slogan Made in Glamorous USA became Born in Glamorous USA.
Juicy Couture fashion involved out of a company known as Travis jeans. Travis jeans specialized in comfortable being in maternity wear for women. From Travis jeans, juicy couture work with 1 — beginning humbly as an unknown brand of T-shirt. As time passed to seek it for evolved into a full line of women’s fashions. The Juicy Couture brand was originally made popular on the West Coast, most notably in California, due to the fact that prominent fashion in this area centered around casual sportswear, however, the brand rapidly spread its wings by extending services to the East Coast.

The company has also diversified to manufacture their own series of Barbie doll, made in the likeness of the two founding females of the company, Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, that come complete with mini Juicy Couture fashions and accessories!
Trends of development in this line have extended juicy couture clothing for infants (which came to fruition in 2006), as well as continuing development in men and women’s casual wear. The company has also launched its own, and very first, women’s fragrance. The fragrance is known as simply Juicy Couture. This already popular fragrance has won prestigious awards from the fragrance foundation.
