Valentino

World-renowned designer Valentino was born on May 11 in 1932. Becoming interested in fashion at a very young age of Valentino is credited with the design and foundering of the Valentino SPA clothing brand and corporation. Valentino is most famous for his haute couture designs, although his ready-to-wear fashion empires continue to impress.

Valentino first became interested in the world of fashion while attending middle school in northern Italy. Valentino is a Rosa was a local designer under which Valentino apprentice up until the age of 17. At the ripe old age of 17, he moved to Paris France to pursue his interest in fashion. After spending much time and steady at world-renowned fashion institutes, Valentino began designing his own line of clothing. Even from the very beginning it was evident that Valentino’s design for the implement the use of layers and animal print.

Valentino’s life was filled with some incident shortly after his studies were completed. He elected to return to Italy to be with his parents in the 1959. At this time, Valentino elected to bring along his French lover Gerald Nanty. After returning home, Valentino’s father backed his very first fashion house opened in Rome. Valentino is designed getting instant popularity. He was most well known for his red dresses, which became known as Valentino red in industry circles.

Valentino’s designs made his international debut in Florence in 1962. After a successful initial showing, Valentino began designing dresses for the best dressed crowd in every international circle. After developing a solid client base, Valentino returned to Rome where he designed his first ever all white collection. The all white collection quickly became popular for his V logo.

At this point, Valentino was renowned buying celebrities ranging from Jacqueline Kennedy to Elizabeth Taylor and is due to his celebrity less Valentino has continued to build an empire over the last 30 years. In 1998 Valentino and his business partner sold their corporation for approximately $300 million. The company was sold to an Italian conglomerate followed shortly by Valentino SPA in 2002. The SPA line, at the time, revenues more than $180 million.

Today’s Valentino is known not only for his fashion sense and his powerful career in fashion designer, but he is also very well-known for his glamorous lifestyle. Valentino has graced the screen in several movie roles, most notably as of late, he made a cameo appearance in the popular film The Devil Wears Prada. Also as of late, the Valentino documentary called the Valentino: The Last Emperor premiered in the year 2008. The same is designed as a documentary to celebrate this fashion designers unique lifestyle as well as to follow him to become familiar with his inner struggle. The film also seeks to become part of Valentino’s personal entourage (inner circle).

Valentino, the world-renowned fashion designer, will always be well known for not only is proclivity toward incredible design but also for his unique in glamorous personal lifestyle.
