Most women are not intrested about doing weight lifting at the gym because, the goal really isn’t strength training, it is to slim down. It took me a while to understand why I would need to incorporate weights into my workout if I wanted to just lose pounds. It is proven that strength training and cardio allows for the best fat loss. Muscle is key to being able to burn more calories and doing a lot of cardio without some strength training will not help you slim down…It can actually take you longer to see results. Looks like it is time to take to the weights ladies!
I recently fell in LOVE with kettlebells because they are primarily for swinging movements and you end up doing a lot of cardio (think extra CALORIES!!!).
