
I have been working out for the last past like 7 years and I have totally became sick with going to the gym. However, I just can’t stop going and expect to stay in shape…so I have decided to start taking aerobics classes. I began talking to some ladies in the sauna and asked one if she was a dancer because her physique was just like that of a dancer and she told me that along with weight training and cardio, she likes to take some off the classes our gym offers and that she recently fell in love with Zumba, which is an hour of latin dancing and working out. I was super stoked at the idea because I have always loved to dance and having a dancers body woulnd’t hurt!
Zumba creators have taken latin moves such as the salsa and merengue and created a dynamic fitness program that allows you to BLAST calories in a hour dance class. The offical Zumba website notes that:
The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms, and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat
You do not have to be a super amazing dancer to enjoy or even be good at Zumba, the moves are very basic and very very effective!
