The finale of Sylista is finally upon us. Stylista is the real-life “Devil Wears Prada”, with a group of young people fighting for a chance to be the next editor for Elle Magazine. Who is going to win? It is down to the final three, Dyshaun, Johanna and Megan.
Aren’t up to date on Stylista, let me get you caught up!
Throughout the season they have worked as Elle Magazine’s Fashion News Editor, Anne Slowey’s assistant. They are given tasks each week and the person(s) who fails is cut from the running. During the last show the candidates were given the task of choosing a fashion designer they would like to discover and debuting their clothing line at a fashion show. Of course this wasn’t an easy task, as each team only had 24 hours to pick their designer and plan out the show. The teams consisted of Johanna and Megan and then Dyshaun and Ashlie. Johanna and Megan took things very seriously, going as far as taking all of the shoes before Dyshaun and Ashlie could get to them. Megan then stayed up all night working on typing up their interview. Dyshaun and Ashlie were given the one designer that both teams wanted. Although they did not work together well and the team was criticized about their page layout and excessive pictures on the page. Johanna and Megan won the challenge, with Slowey sending Ashlie home. It is now down the final three and the finale. Who is going to win? Who is getting the contract with Elle Magazine? Who is getting the year clothing allowance at H&M? Who is getting an apartment for an entire year?
