Dylan’s Candy Bar, started by Dylan Lauren, the daughter of Ralph Lauren, is a true candy emporium nestled on the Upper East Side of New York City. Though it might be a gray, gloomy day in Manhattan, you can enter the candy store and feel as though you’re lost amongst the brightly colored candies and the smells of cotton candy and chocolate swirling through the air.
And I was intrigued when I heard about the new Re-Treat Collection that is being distributed by Sephora and is a line of skin care products that sound more at home at Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory rather than at the popular cosmetics store. Such names include Cocount Bon Bon, Strawberry Licorice, Chocolate Cupcake, and Birthcake Batter.
I was sent the Chocolate Cupcake Collection which includes the Lip Saver, and the Body scrub, and was surprised that I didn’t actually start eating the products which smell yummy and did a great job with exfoliating.
Now, if you’re partial to smelling like baked goods, I recommend that you stay away from these products. If not, feel free to indulge without the extra calories. I think any girl would be happy with that, don’t you?
