Over the past few years many celebrities have become the faces for several designers and brands. Angelina Joile was the face of St. John, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen was the face for Badgley Mischka, and Scarlett Johansson was in a few ads for Louis Vuitton.
Over the past year the classic supermodels such as, Kate Moss, Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour, Naomi Campbell, and Heidi Klum have been coming back with a vengeance. Recently Christy Turlington has been in several ads for Chanel, Kate Moss for David Yurman, Naomi Campbell for Yves Saint Laurent, Heidi Klum for Jordache, and Stephanie Seymour for Loewe.
I think there are definitely some attractive Hollywood actresses that represent brands and designers very well, but I will always pay more attention to the ad when they are those models we know and love so well. Even with the scandal that took place a couple of years ago with Kate Moss caught doing drugs, didn’t stop her from making an incredible come back. I can’t remember the last time we saw Christy Turlington. Even Linda Evangelista was M.I.A. for many years and has recently been popping up in commercials for L’Oreal and ads for Prada.
I think I would have to say my favorite all time model is Christy Turlington. Who’s your favorite Supermodel?
