The 2009 Golden Globe Awards are on tonight! It’s the beginning of the awards season (or, Drool Over the Red Carpet season, depending) so pop your popcorn, get dolled up, and get ready to watch. The show will be airing from 8-11 pm EST on NBC. There are more than 50 stars set to be presenters, including Drew Barrymore, Pierce Brosnan, and Sacha Baron Cohen.

Female Eye Candy Presenters:

The Cecil B. DeMille Award will go to Steven Speilberg this year for what the Hollywood Foreign Press Association calls his “outstanding contribution to the entertainment field.” As for the rest of the awards, you’ll have to watch to see if Kate Winslet beats out Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, and Kristin Scott Thomas for Best Actress.

The buzz has been big about Best Actor, with Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, and Brad Pitt all in the running along with Frank Langella and Mickey Rourke.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Revolutionary Road are big favorites for Best Picture, but they’ll have to compete with Frost/Nixon, The Reader and Slumdog Millionaire to grab the globe.

And of course, there’s the burning question everyone’s asking:

Will Heath Ledger win his first posthumous award?
