Rumors have been circling the web that American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi was fired. Has she actually been fired? Not just yet. According to CelebTV, they almost did not hire DioGuardi after fellow judges, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson did not agree with her. Although DioGuardi was hired despite their concerns, the network found they may have made a mistake.
Fox executives stated that DioGuardi was “terrible and amateurish” along with not fitting in well with the other judges. They have given her another chance because they did not want to admit the mistake they had made.
Besides concerns from the judges, many viewers have posted complaints about the condesending tone she uses when speaking to the contestants. DioGuardi may be attempting to be nice, many take offense to her overuse of “sweetie” and “honey”.
Will DioGuardi make it through this season of American Idol? Who knows, but I doubt she will be back for Season 9!
I just never cared for Kara as a judge on American Idol. I use to watch the show all the time. I have not watched it for a long while now. I just think the voting was not honest. Maybe with Brett Michaels on it as a judge I might watch it agsin.
