Oscar Nominations 2009

Each year the Academy Awards honor the greatest films, actors, directors and writers from the previous year. The award given is called an Oscar, which how the awards are widely known. The first Academy Awards were held in 1929, making the 2009 awards the 81st Annual.
So who made the cut? Which films were rated highest? The film with the highest amount of nominations is “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with 13 nominations. This film is closely followed by “Slumdog Millionaire” with 10 nominations. Surprisingly, “The Dark Knight” received only 8 nominations, although I thought it would get much more.
