Though I couldn’t get to Macy’s until after leaving work, I still had to wait in line this past Tuesday to receive my free beauty product courtesy of a settlement in a class action lawsuit against several major Department stores. I was pretty psyched knowing that it wouldn’t be any cheap drugstore brand, but most likely something from Clarins, Estee Lauder, Clinique, etc… I ended up getting Clinique’s Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief, and have used it for a couple of days already and its a pretty good product. Light enough to not clog pores, but enough moisture to quench my skin, especially in this Los Angeles dry weather.
As consumers everywhere cut their spending budgets, women usually find ways to continue to splurge on beauty products. Why? Well, it makes us feel beautiful and as if we’re taking care of ourselves, which is always a good thing. No matter how much you’re affected by the current state of the Economy, you can make sure that you have on a smile, moisturizer, lipstick, and a little mascara. This won’t solve all your problems, but at least you’ll look good.
