As we know, a lot of celebrities have their own lines, be it clothing, jewelry, skin care, etc. Some celebs are 100% involved in the creation and development of their lines. Others just license their name to be used for the products. One of the most successful lines is Jaclyn Smith’s clothing line for Kmart. She started it in 1985 really pioneering the concept of celebrities developing their own brand not just licensing their name.
The latest of the celebrity lines is Daisy Fuentes’ new hair care line. It will be launched in March and will be available at Walgreens and Rite Aid stores. The line is set to retail between $7.99 and $9.99. The collection will include nine paraben- and sulfate-free products with notes of orchid and tuberose in all the products. The line will include Smooth & Straight Shampoo and Conditioner, Curls & Waves Shampoo, Conditioner, and Mousse, Ultra Deep Conditioner, Straightening Blow Dry Flat Iron Finishing Spray, High Shine Finishing spray, and an All Day Hair Spray.
I think what will bring awareness to this line is that it’s paraben- and sulfate-free. With more and more people aware of the chemicals in beauty products, they will probably be interested in buying this line. Also, because it’s quite affordable. Will you buy this line?
Yes. I would buy it. I’m very interested in paraben free products. I love the Daisy Fuentes fashions @ Kohl’s. she has great taste and always looks good, so the hair products should be pretty good.

I picked up the Straight and Smooth shampoo and conditioner at Walgreens and I LOVE this shampoo! I have fine, wavy hair and after the first use, my hair was instantly softer but not weighed down. Even if you just used the shampoo, your hair feels smooth and soft after rinsing. The scent is heavenly, even my husband remarked that my hair smelled really good, but it’s not so strong you get sick of it. After using it for abour 4 days, my hair is still really soft and no build up. Oh and a little of the shampoo and conditioner goes a long way!
I just purchased the Straight and Smoth Shampoo &conditioner, the best ever, love the smell and the softness. I think is great product for the price.

hair stylists/products I’ve tried.Daisy’s products are no lie! I just bought and used the Smooth and Straight Conditioner the smell it is fabulous!! Also I purchased the Straightening spray, which after I blow dry my hair I went on to spraying every lock of hair that I wanted to curl, it works great, it leaves my hair with bouncy curls and the smell I can’t get over it, really a great product. I found it at Marshall’s for $4.
I went everywhere that had a few and purchased what was left. One of the best conditioners I’ve ever used!
Walgreens and Rite Aid no longer carry it. Love smooth & straight shampoo, blow dry straight and the hair spray. Bought whatever I could find. LOVE IT, LOVE IT. Best I have every used. Where do I find it next and don’t stop the line. thanks
