Uh oh, the drama is hitting a new high between Britney Spears and her former “associate”. Sam Lutfi, the squirmy looking guy who clung to Britney like a pair of her fishnets for about a year and almost ruined her life, has just filed a lawsuit against her and her parents for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract.
Looks like he’s getting desperate since he had to stop relying on Britney’s purse strings when her family intervened, got a restraining order against him and effectively shut him out of her life. Which, magically transformed Britney back into the girl we all know and love.
The war between Sam Lutfi and the Spears was reignited last week when Jamie Spears sought and was granted a restraining order against Lutfi and ex-paparazzi-BFF Adnan Ghalib, claiming the two were harassing the Spears family and “working in concert to disrupt the conservatorship with utter disregard for Ms. Spears’s health and well being.”
Lutfi says that he was defamed in Lynne Spears’ book, Through the Storm, in which she discussed his control over Britney. Apparently, since the book release, he has received death threats and been unable to find work as, get this, a counselor for at risk teens. Yikes, that’s a scary thought!
Apparently, he also suffered an injury to his nervous system and person, when Lynne Spears punched him in the chest during an altercation at Britney’s home.
He is also seeking money (shock!), claiming that he was promised 15 percent of Britney’s earnings via a text message, in which she wrote, “sam, so thats fine, i want you to be my manager, you were right its 15 percent of my money but for 4 years not 5.”
His lawyers are saying there is overwhelming evidence to support his case, while the Spears family has not commented.
ugh, this guy makes me sick!
