All of us have fallen for a fad diet (or two or three…) and have believed a few crazy food myths in our eternal quests for thinner, sexier selves, but after all that trial and error do you think you’ve gotten a pretty good handle on what you should and shouldn’t be eating? (Even if you don’t always do it.) Well here are 4 common food myths that, despite being debunked years ago, just won’t go away:

  • Margarine has less fat than butter
  • Low fat = Low calorie
  • The Grapefruit Diet is an oldie but goodie
  • Eggs are bad for your cholesterol

Surprised? Read more on these myths (including what you should be eating instead) here.
