I just have to say, I’m really tired of all these celeb-singers lip-synching at events. I would rather hear them belt it out and actually struggle to sing than to lip-synch.

I understand that these performances where there is choreography, it can be a bit difficult to do both, but isn’t that what a diva is all about?!

I remember watching Carrie Underwood perform at the Grammys. Now, I hope I’m right in saying that girl did not lip-synch. She was amazing! No, there wasn’t a big dance component, but I betcha Miss Underwood would have still performed marvelously.

I don’t think Christina Aquilera has ever lip-synched. If someone out there can confirm she did, OK, but that girl is a serious singer.

At this rate, the only true singers out there are the ones that make it to the finals on American Idol or they are on Broadway. Seriously! I mean, anyone can become a singer. Just take someone’s tracks like Beyonce’s and go perform somewhere. It would be like a high-end Karaoke experience.

I’m wondering if Hugh Jackman lip-synched? I doubt it ‘Mr. Broadway’. Maybe that’s the key. Anyone who wants to be a singer, has to go and perform on Broadway first. I don’t think that’s a bad idea.
