It seems that more and more celebrities are joining sites like Twitter and Facebook each and every day. Social Media sites are growing in popularity and are now becoming household names.  Twitter, the 140 character micro-blogging site saw it’s biggest rise yet in subscribers in 2008.  No wonder celebs are eager to join in on the conversation, what better way to connect with your fans.

Justine Bateman is using twitter to connect people to a Tumblr blog that promotes her latest endeavor,  it’s called FM78.tv.  The site is passionate about changing the Entertainment landscape.  They strive to bring  top notch content directly to you through the internet. The founders of the site believe there is a creative revolution coming and soon the masses will be surging towards the internet for their entertainment.

The first project for FM78.tv is an 18 part mini-series called Candy Inc.  The show will be a comedy that is set in a candy factory called Stubbs Sweets.  The show lineup will include Justine Bateman, Jeff Garlin (Curb your Enthusiasm), Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club), to name a few.  It is will be directed by Steve Pink from High Fidelity and Gross Pointe Blank.
