Jessica Biel’s Oscar and post-Oscar dresses
First, I want to say, what is the big deal with Jessica Biel and second why is she at the Oscars? She has done maybe one significant movie, The Illusionist, but was dwarfed by the other actors in the movie. OK, so her boyfriend is Justin Timberlake. Then in that case she ought to have been seen at the Grammys.
When Miss Biel came out on stage, I think everyone had the same reaction, ‘what is she wearing?!’ It was an ivory dress by Prada and one of the designers forgot to cut off that extra piece of fabric. To top it off, her hair looked like it was thrown together and her jewelry was alright, but the earrings could have just been simple, long strands instead of that globe-type object in the middle.
Funny enough, for the Vanity Fair party, she looked so much better. Why didn’t she wear that dress to the Oscars? A beautiful, one-shouldered Oscar de la Renta dress in fuchsia with a gold belt. The earrings she wore were nice, large gold studs. Although, the hair could have been better pulled back in a pony-tail and she could have replaced the black clutch with a gold or amber colored one.
