Jeremy Piven Speaks!

I am the first to say that I love the show Entourage and even more, love Jeremy Piven’s character Ari Gold. I will also say that Jeremy Piven in ‘real life’, is a bit of an ass. Nothing confirms that more than the incident with dropping out of the Broadway revival Speed-the-Plow.

In December, Piven unexpectedly dropped out of the show with no warning saying he was extremely sick due to mercury poisoning from eating sushi.

Recently, Piven finally spoke out (crying!) about the issue saying it was from eating fish for the past 20 years. Really?! Well, which is it that caused the mercury poisoning? Sushi or eating fish for many years? How about, you just didn’t want to do the play and wanted to get out it somehow, hmmm???

Well, the Plow Producers are still pushing to penalize Piven and rightly so. They have filed for arbitration and the hearing will happen within 30 days. Upon the hearing within 30 days a decision will be reached.
