Lauren Conrad: Season 5 is the Last Season of The Hills
After teasing us with the juicy previews of four “bonus” episodes of The Hills, which will air in March. The star of the crazily-addictive show, Lauren Conrad, is now saying that season 5 will be the last.
In an interview with Seventeen Magazine, Conrad says, “My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still a great thing. I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.”
There is always hope, and probably a high likelihood, that one of the other attention hungry stars will get their own spin off, a la Whitney Port. Now that Audrina has split from Justin Bobby, she’d be a perfect candidate for a reality show chronicling her dating life. And, of course, Heidi and Spencer probably have already whipped up a hundred scripts for their new, uh ummm, reality show.
Well, we don’t have to say good bye to The Hills just yet. There are still the four “bonus” March episodes, plus a whole season of drama to look forward to. Does Spencer really try to pick up on a bartender? Do Lauren and Heidi reconcile? So many questions, so little time.
