Well, we’re all trying to save more these days. Our shrinking budgets do NOT mean that we have to stop doing things that make us feel good about ourselves. For the ladies out there, that means that you don’t need to stop wearing eyeliner, mascara, and your favorite lip shine/treatment/lip gloss.
What this DOES mean is that you must be more creative with your cash flow so cut back on those skim lattes and shop at H&M for the latest fashions… because you have to look your best in order to feel your best. Here are some inexpensive ways to do so:
Oatmeal and Honey Mask- Not ready to pay $140 for a Professional facial? Well, why not try this mask that will decrease oil and make your skin glow?
1/4 cup of Rolled or Instant Oats
1/4 cup of Hot water
2 tablespoon of Honey
Mix the ingredients, and add the honey last. Apply the facial mask onto your face, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Once you remove the mask, your skin will be softer and more glowy than before
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara- Tried and True, and for under ten bucks, this mascara not only is used by top Makeup professionals but it works!
Use a Humidifier- These are devices that emit water vapor or steam to increase moisture levels in the air and can do wonders for dry skin that is thirsting for moisture. Any it’s common knowledge that the more moisturized skin is, the softer it appears.
Use Baking Soda to Whiten Teeth- This Health.com article gives a useful recipe as this quick whitening method is not only useful, but very cheap.
