First Solo Show – Heatherette’s Richie Rich

New York’s Fashion Week is wrapping up today. Some have been saying with the current economic crisis the mood has been a bit more somber than previous years. Others would argue that the mood in general for the Fall/Winter shows usually is a bit more low-key.

Although, there was no low-key environment when it came to the Richie Rich show. Once part of the Heatherette duo, Richie Rich premiered his first solo show this year. There was nothing somber about his show. Neon pink, metallic gold, with a little bit of punk and a dash of Marilyn Monroe.

One of the head-liners for the show was classic, sexy Pamela Anderson who strutted down the runway in a booty exposed, gold lame swimsuit. Considering the line was influenced by Marilyn Monroe, Richie Rich had to feature the Marilyn Monroe of ‘our times’. Check out photos here.

The show also featured Aubrey O’Day from Danity Kane. She strutted down the runway in a neon pink chiffon blouse with a black garter belt and nothing else. Check out the video here.
