Lauren “LC” Conrad is a Published Author!
We’ve watched her when she was shy little “LC,” on MTV’s “Laguna Beach,” and followed her as she chased her fashion dreams on “The Hills.” And through all the chaos and drama of finding true friends and boys that didn’t exactly meet her standards, she managed to establish a fan base and help the show sky rocket in ratings. LC can now add published author to her resume, as her new book, “L.A. Candy,” with is being released on the Harper Collins imprint on June 16th, and you can start pre-ordering now.
LC says on her Myspace blog, “I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. So I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”
We’ve seen the in-fighting with LC and Heidi/Spencer or “Spedi” as they’re called by the gossip rags. Will we see characters based on these “Hills” characters? Well… LC says, “”Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life but it is in no way calling anyone out.”
The girl definitely knows how to play the PR game now. Go Lauren!
