In the last couple of years I have been noticing Korres, a line of natural beauty products from Greece. The line has roots in Athens going back to their first ever Homeopathic Pharmacy. The line was launched in 1996 to create safe, natural products leaving out synthetic ingredients such as mineral oil and propylene glycol. The ingredients they do use reads like a farmer’s market grocery list such as, watercress, wild rose, sage, and sweet almond.
One of the products I have tried is the Watermelon Sunscreen Face Cream SPF 30. Now, I don’t usually use such a high SPF, but when I walked into Sephora and was asking one of the sales consultants what their favorite sunscreen/daytime moisturizer is, that’s what they pointed to. You can’t help but to get addicted to that watermelon scent, it’s so refreshing. The cream is a bit thick, but blends in quite well and becomes fairly matte on the skin. It also works like a brightener and gives the skin a nice, youthful glow. Also, makeup stays on very well throughout the day.
I’m looking forward to trying more products from this line. I think next up is either a product from their makeup line, or an eye cream, we’ll keep you posted.
