During times like these it becomes difficult to justify spending money on all the beauty products we enjoy using. I would say most of us we spend about $20 on mascaras, lipsticks and lip glosses, approximately $18 on single eye shadows and up to $40 on eyeshadow palettes, $35 and up for foundation, and the list goes on. I know there are some of us that would never think of replacing what we use for drugstore brands, but there are some great brands out there that can be great affordable alternatives.
FACE :
I am a huge lover of Neutrogena skin care. There is not one product in their line that I ever had a issue with. Their makeup is the same, particularly base makeup (concealer, foundation, and powder). They even developed a mineral line, which is great for those that want something more natural. My favorite product is the SkinClearing oil-free makeup with MicroClear technology, and for $11.99 you can’t go wrong.
MASCARA:
Hands down Maybelline’s Great Lash Washable Mascara has been the go-to mascara for makeup artists and women for years! On Drugstore.com you can get it now for only $4.49, 10% off. You could get two for that price.
EYESHADOW:
L’Oreal’s HIP line is great for an array of eyeshadow colors. They are highly pigmented so you get great wear out them. They usually retail for $7.
LIPS:
You can’t really go wrong with any of the lines for lipsticks and lip glosses. It just depends on the consistency you are looking for and variety of colors.
