Taylor Swift’s Love Story

Taylor Swift, this teen Country-pop singing songbird, currently has a hit with her song, “Love Story,” and her album, “Fearless,” has been number one for more than 10 weeks in a row.

But what you might not know about her is that she’s a loner and that she cites loneliness as the reason why she is where she is today. Currently on the cover of Self Magazine, she says, “If I hadn’t been so driven to music because I didn’t have anyone to hang out with, if I hadn’t written songs because I didn’t have anyone to talk to, I wouldn’t be sitting here right now.”

Taylor is also active on Social media with active Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace accounts because she likes to be in contact with all of her fans. As for her songwriting ability, she says, “I don’t think honesty is ever something you should regret. I figure if I’m going to cover things up and try to hide the way I feel and try to be perfect all the time, people are going to see through that. And also, if you’re trying to change yourself all the time to adapt to what you think you should be, you’re going to run out of the things to be after a while.”

She also has a down-t0-earth quality that is shown in the Self Cover Shoot Video, and has dated Joe Jonas of the Uber-famous Jonas brothers. Unfortunately the relationship went awry, and he apparently broke up with her over the phone. Taylor says, “Joe Jonas hurt her deeply.”

But she is fast covering with her increasing album sales and more fuel to add to her songwriting fire. As any artist will note, you have to dig deep in order to write lyrics that will strike a chord with your audience, and Taylor definitely has.
