Artis Leon Ivey, Jr, better known as Coolio, was at LAX on his way to Tulsa, OK. He was going through a security check point and was found to have crack-cocaine in his possession. Rumors say he began to get physical with the guards. Coolio was going to perform at the Flytrap Music Hall with Tone Loc and Shock G of The Digital Underground. Looks like Tone Loc and Shock G will have to go on without him, as he is being booked with LAPD.
Coolio has been out of the limelight since his huge hits of the 90′s, including “Gangsta’s Paradise”. Since then he has come out with a few more records, but they have not had nearly the success. Good luck to Coolio in the slammer, hopefully someone there will still remember him and have his back.
