Rihanna Deals with Music
Rihanna, the 21 year old Hip-Hop songstress is best known for her pop hits from “Umbrella,” and “Rehab,” that mixes catchy melodies with a hip-hop style and Island flair. But in recent days, she’s known for her recent altercation with boyfriend, fellow Billboard star, Chris Brown.
How is she dealing with the trauma in her life? Well, according to reports, she’s in the recording studio, making tracks for an upcoming album. It is no coincidence that Rihanna, like other Artists, deal with life through music, and she has hooked up with Grammy-winning producer Adonis Shropshire who has worked with Chris Brown, Mariah Carey, Usher, and Gwen Stefani.
He tells hiphollywood.com, “You have to remember, she’s a kid still. So with anybody who goes through something in the world, you have to bring yourself out of it, so I guess her refuge is her music.”
Originally from the island of Barbados, Rihanna first burst onto the scene with the Reggae-infused pop sound of “Pon de Replay,” and was subsequently signed by Def Jam Records. Since she released her most recent album, “A Good Girl Gone Bad,” she has had three hits, including “Take a Bow,” “Don’t Stop the Music,” and Umbrella.”
