Skin Benefits of Tea Tree Oil

Okay, so we all want clear skin, right? And if you have less than perfect skin, you’re probably looking for an oil-free cleanser or lotion that will clear up the blemishes. Well, how about trying Tea Tree oil which is an essential oil that has naturally antiseptic, oil-controlling qualities, and prevents new blemishes without over drying the skin.

A favorite of mine is the ever popular Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash which combats those pesky zits and doesn’t dry out your skin. It also has glycerin to moisturize and Allanoin to soothe and moisturize for softer skin.

I was hesitant to try this product at first because I usually stick to oil-free products, but found that this product not only worked to help clear up my skin, but there was no added shine. And it didn’t dry up my skin which is definite positive as I live in Southern California where dry air is the norm.

So, let’s just say that I’ll be a continued fan of tea tree oil for years to come.
