Gianni Versace has said that she has “the most beautiful body in the world,” but Supermodel Helena Christensen has said that she was awkward and skinny growing up and luckily she filled out in time to get into the world of modeling.
This Danish beauty decided to try her luck in modeling and was discovered by photographer Friedemann Huass who knew that she was a “natural” in front of the camera. Since then, she’s graced the covers of numerous magazine covers, fashion shows, Designer campaigns, and more.
But don’t expect this model to be living on a diet of coffee and cigarettes. Instead, she states in this month’s UK Instyle, that she “eats like a pig. I eat more than anyone I know. I’m obsessed! [Food] takes up about 75 percent of my brain.
Though reading this makes me even more aware that life is indeed unfair, Christensen is definitely not someone who doesn’t work hard. She’s also an accomplished photographer, a mother of a young child, and has worked as the creative director for Nylon Magazine.
