The Hills Moves On Without LC

Lauren Conrad
Looks like “The Hills” will have to do without Lauren Conrad.  She has said that this 5th season will be here last on the show, but sources say that the show will move along without her, including keeping current cast members from Audrina, Brody, Spedi, and more.

The show brought LC money, fame, and the chance that not every young woman gets, which is to work in the cutthroat world of fashion.  But as episodes of “The Hills,” show, you don’t always get what you wish for, and LC’s problems with friends, boyfriends, and growing up were on display week after week.  It can get exhausting seeing the drama that went down each week, and LC is definitely making her choice to step out of the spotlight.

MTV’s “The Hills,” dominated ratings in the 12-34 year old age range, and was a ratings hit for MTV, but will it continue to do so without its lead star?

Well folks, this is reality TV and that means that drama can always be created/edited.  So the best of luck to you, LC, and here are some parting words from executive producer, Liz Gately.

“Fans first fell in love with Lauren when she was just 17 years old and a high school senior in Laguna Beach. For the five years that followed, Lauren allowed MTV to follow every aspect of her incredible journey in life.  It is bittersweet, but I understand why she is saying goodbye.  I will be forever grateful for all that she shared with us and am incredibly proud of the television we made together.”
