Of all things stupid, this has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever read: “A Fort Pierce woman called 911 three times to report an emergency after McDonald’s had run out of McNuggets, according to a police report obtained Tuesday.” reports wpbf.com. The woman called to report that a McDonald’s employee wasn’t giving her a refund for the chicken nuggets she wanted.”
The 27 year old woman was issued a written notice to appear in court for misuse of 911 but who knows what she will be charged with. On Tuesday (3/3), the McDonald’s operations manager issued a statement apologizing for not refunding her and promised to send her a refund, and to pay for her original meal.
Nice PR move, McDonald’s. I agree that she should have gotten a refund for the McNuggets but to call 911? Not once, twice, but THREE TIMES? You have GOT to be kidding me. There is no excuse for this woman to abuse the system, waste our tax dollars, and hog up a 911 line like she did.
How embarrassing for her and I hope she is mandated some serious community service efforts for being such a disgrace to the world.
Shame on her.
I wonder how she functions in society.
