CK One is Back!
Ah, CK One. Images are conjured of Mark Wahlberg when he was merely Marky Mark of the Funky Bunch and showing off his chiseled pecks alongside a super young Kate Moss who started her own controversy just for being thin.
The music of “The Cranberries,” and “Nirvana,” were blasting through car stereos and there was feeling of grunge in the air as the 90′s fashion of mixed print dresses, Doc Martens, and too red lipstick, kept CK One as a wildly popular fragrance.
Well…things have changed a bit since then. We have an African-American President, we’re more globally connected than ever before, and we all eat, live, and breathe on the Internet. But some things never change, and that is the need to smell nice whether for yourself, your significant other, or for the benefit of those who work with you.
In this spirit, Calvin Klein is re-releasing CK One- Collector’s Edition which mixes a clean, floral, and the essences of bergamot, pineapple, papaya, jasmine, violet, rose, nutmeg, and musk. Even in their “We are One,” ad campaigns, Calvin Klein, best known for their classic American models, is embracing diversity and also giving away a mini speaker with each fragrance purchase.
I could definitely get used to more campaigns like this!
