I may be opening myself up for judgement, but I’ll state it anyway: I care about looks. I chose my laptop because it’s pretty and pink. My futuristic-looking sneakers make me feel like I can run faster. So you probably won’t be surprised at how excited I was when I read about a company that prints your uploaded photo onto a yoga mat in a recent issue of Time Out magazine.
Yoga mats are generally pretty basic-looking (boring) in solid colors, but Yogamatic lets you show off your personal style even when you’re doing your sun salutations or downward-facing dog. My imagination went nuts thinking about all the wild possibilities. If you don’t have a photo you want to use, you can choose from hundreds of designs on their website such as cuddly teddy bears in yoga poses, a graphic houndstooth pattern, an exotic landscape and even an image of the Dalai Lama.
Green yogis will be happy to know that the two-by-six-foot mats are made of a completely degradable and sustainable material and are printed with water-soluble ink. A percentage of every sale (price of mat is $85 and includes a free shoulder bag) is donated to Global Green.

I like. Will go nicely with my new Wii Fit.
