It seems like things just keep getting tougher for Jessica Simpson. Recently, she was in the press for her weight gain and now, she is once again making headlines but, for forgetting the lyrics! Us Magazine reported that;
“at her final show, the singer (who was back in Daisy Dukes) continued to have a few on-stage mishaps. She flubbed the opening lyrics to “Remember That,” a song about being in an abusive relationship. “Oops! I said whiskey too early! I messed up!” she said before starting the song over. “I’m so embarrassed! But I’m starting over again because I really want you guys to hear the lyrics the right way.” While singing “Still Don’t Stop Me”, she also mixed up the opening line, blushing and running her fingers through her hair. “I messed up again! I do this all the time!” she said, laughing.”
Ouch! You can’t really be a successful singer if you can’t remember the lyrics to your song. However, I don’t really think people are showing up to her concerts because she is such a great artist/performer…it is more to buy into the Hollywood hype surrounding her? Don’t you agree?!
Remember That? Guess not.
Oh, and her, uhm, chest, likely provides much of the audience incentive to attend.
