Lindsay Lohan Warrant for Arrest

Actress Lindsay Lohan, was issued a $50,000 arrest warrant on Friday after the Beverly Hills Police Department claimed she had not been attending alcoholic educational courses. However, early Monday morning, a Beverly Hills court judge dismissed the charges after Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman, provided the courts with legal documentation showing that Lindsay had been compliant with her probation sentence.

What looked to be a publicity stunt, could all just be attributed to miscommunication, after Lindsay dropped out of one of her DUI classes claiming to have a “personality conflict.” Often times celebrities are put into rehab and substance abuse classes that treat them like a “celebrity” and hardly ever get after the real issue. With all the media attention and pressure on the celebrities, it seems as though a rehab program only highlights there mistakes and hurts them more than helps.

Lindsay Lohan’s 3 year probation term comes from her 2nd DUI issued back in 2007. The 22 year-old actress is more known for her off camera drama than her on screen performances. I can honestly say I do not remember the last big movie she was in. “Mean Girls” maybe…
