Britney Spears Makes Her Comeback

Britney Spears performs in Germany
Say what you want about Britney Spears, but you can’t deny her star power and ability to put on a fantastic show.   I blatantly admit that I used to/still do listen to her Pop hits because they’re great to listen to when you’re on the treadmill or if you just need to pretend that you’re back in the late 90′s when we were in Booming Economic times.

In recent years, we watched as she struggled with divorce, drugs, alcohol abuse, and then she got back up and started on the path to where she is today, a fun dance album, an endorsement deal, and her new “Circus” tour that kicked off Tuesday at the New Orleans Arena in Louisiana.

So what did people think? Well, the crowd loved it and her hometown welcomed her back with open arms.  The Circus show was broken down into four acts, “Circus,” “House of Fun,” “Freakshow/Peepshow” and “Electro Circ” with literally dozens of costume changes, dancers of all shapes and sizes and acrobats and set pieces that fly about willy-nilly. Yes, this includes cholos on Tricylces, a Bollywood number, and a pair of martial arts routines.

Britney donned various costume changes and showed her trademark, dancer/performer self.  One thing is for certain, she knows how to make the world put all their eyes on her. Just remember that 1999 VMA performance that made the world gossip for days. Britney’s back, B*@*!

  1. so in the battle for pop supremacy, who’s it going to be? britney or lady gaga?

time to pick sides folks. that means you too kat

  2. Okay, first of all, your name is Xtina, so I already like you. Second, you can’t deny what Ms. Spears has done in the world of pop music. Hate her or love her, I think she’s still wearing that crown. Lady Gaga needs a few more albums until she can compare.
