‘For what’ you ask, for the plane crash involving him and Travis Barker last year on September 19th. The Celebrity DJ is suing the manufacturer of the plane, Learjet, and several other companies.

Adam Goldstein, his real name, wants $10 million for lost earnings and medical expenses with another $10 million for mental and physical pain. A jury will decide if this should be awarded to Goldstein.

The companies involved in this have asked that the trial be delayed until the Government has investigated the crash thoroughly. I understand that for the trauma, injuries, and time that DJ AM could not perform, he certainly did suffer mental and physical pain with some lost wages. However, $20 Million is a hefty amount and I doubt that he was going to make that kind of money between September and the end of the year. Could I be wrong?

Travis Barker has also sued most of the same companies, but there is nothing stating how much he is suing for, unless I missed the memo on that one.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I doubt DJ AM will be awarded that sum. To be continued…
