Brooklyn based designer Stephanie Tran is known for her ethereal, flowy designs that have a whimsical look with slipdresses, blazers, and boyfriend trousers. She says, “My childhood friend Thea Duskin was pretty pretty, and lived with her eccentric British parents in this crumbling old Victorian in upstate New York.”
And as these thoughts of the Victorian house and it’s gardens have permeated her mind, Tran decided to name her collection, “Duskin.” Ironic name considering her resume which included stints as lingerie designer at Forever 21, celebrity stylist, and event planner.
She’s spent time in LA, as well as her current home base in Brooklyn and says that she takes influences from both cities in her uber-feminine line. Tran is also a blogger, who is an avid Women’s Wear Daily reader and can be found listening to tracks by Neil Young and Old Age when she’s not designing.
I can’t wait to see what else she comes up with next.

These styles are pretty interesting. You don't see a lot of material like this being made and it looks oh so comfortable.
