Rachel Bilson Loves Her SPF

Rachel Bilson is best known for her role as “Summer” in the now defunct TV series by Josh Schwartz, “The OC.”  But she is a favorite in the fashion world for her knowledge of fashion and stylish ways.  And can you add skincare maven to her resume?

She recently teamed up with Jergens to raise sun protection awareness through Jergen’s “Glow in the Dark,” initiative which will donate $1 to the Skin Cancer Foundation for every pledge made.

Bilson says, “growing up in Southern California, getting tan was a big part of the culture. Now being aware of how bad it is for your skin, you can still get that look and that glow without harming your body.”  Considering that her previous TV show took place in sunny Orange Country, California with sun-drenched beaches and gorgeous scenery.

One of her favorites is Jergens Natural glow healthy complexion daily facial moisturizer with broad spectrum UVA/UVB as well as SPF 20.  It’s also non-comedogenic and oil-free which is a must if you live in warm climates so you won’t break out like crazy.

I’m a bit obsessive about my SPF use, so I’ll have to check out this new Jergens facial moisturizer.  As summer approaches, you need to prep your skin!
