Cheap Ways to De-Stress
A wise person once quoted, “Stress is the resistance to what is.” Pretty profound, right? Well, it seems as though stress is the name of the game these days with all of the Economic data, stock reports, and unemployment numbers swirling around us. Okay, what can you do about it? The truth is that you need to figure out positive ways to deal with life’s stresses because there will always be obstacles in your life. Here are a few ways that work for me:
Work it Out- Nothing combats stress better than a sweaty workout. Can’t afford a gym membership? No worries, just make your way to a local park or just running a couple of blocks around your home. Just moving your body for 30 minutes will get those endorphins floating around in your head. And we could all use those.

Listen to Peaceful Music- Have a ton of work to do or worried about how you’re going to make those payments? Listen to calming, soothing music which will help you to calm down so that you can have a more rational approach to dealing with your day. It can’t hurt.

Strategize- Organize your life, your computer, your papers. The more organized you are, the more you’ll be able to have a plan of attack when you’re faced with life’s obstacles.

Spend Time With Your Love- Love does conquer all. Having someone in your life who you care about and who cares about you can do wonders for your stress levels. And you don’t have to spend a ton of cash. You can rent a movie, go to a ball game, or you know, make love.

Be Positive- There’s a reason why positive people tend to be happier and less stree-free. Starting the day with five things that you’re grateful for will just set your day in motion, with a positive spin.

Alright, now go on and don’t be stressed. Seriously.
