Well this was unexpected. Announced today during a taping of the “Late Show,” David Letterman surprised the world with the news that he and his longtime girlfriend Regina Lasko were now married. The happy couple recited their wedding vows on Thursday evening at Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana, a site picked for it’s prime location: far away from anything and everything. Everyone that is, except for their handsome young son Harry (born in 2003). According to Letterman, the simple wedding wasn’t without it’s mishaps.
En route to the courthouse, the truck carrying the family got stuck in mud. So stuck in fact they couldn’t get out. And since they were located in the middle of nowhere, Letterman had to walk back to town. A two mile trek in what Dave describes as “50 mile-an-hour wind.” What a gentleman!
This is not Letterman’s first marriage, having been married for seven years previously to his college sweetheart Michelle Cooke, but it is the first time he’s been married in over thirty years. So he’s been enjoying the bachelor’s life for quite some time. But from the sounds of it, he’s once again ready for married life. Good for him.

For such a rich & famous guy, I'm a little surprised to see that his new wife is sort of plain looking. Glad to see, looks don't mean everything.

I think some celebrities aren't into the whole hollywood power couple look. They just want to be treated like regular people. I think David Letterman fits in this category.
