Joe Zee of Stylista

Joe Zee is known for his style.  His style for fashion that is and has worked as as a fashion director at W Magazine, editor at Details and also as editor-in-chief at Vitals.  His innate fashion sense and ability to style on set as well as editorial magazine spreads has established his reputation throughout the world of Fashion.

He’s also worked with world renowned photographers including Tom Ford, Anne Leibovitz, Bruce Weber, and Patrick Demarchelier.  Most recently, Zee took on the position of Elle Magazine’s Creative Director and helped to re-create the style and look of the magazine.

Did I also forget to mention that he’s a judge on the CW show, Stylista, and also makes guest cameos on MTV’s, “The City.”  In essence, his life is about style and fashion, but he does seem to have a down-to-earth sensibility about him.

Check out his NY Diet, which makes you like him even more because he seems to have a sense of balance and enjoys normal foods like french fries and burritos, even though he works in a world where nutrition doesn’t exactly have a seat at the fashion table.

Zee has also worked on numerous ad campaigns including Sean John, Perry Ellis, Kenneth Cole, DKNY, as well as the GAP Product Red campaign.  He’s one of those people in the world of fashion that bring a bit of normalcy amongst the glamour that can be too much.
