Fergie, or Stacy Ferguson who got her start as a child star, and went through tough transitions as she eventually got her game back on with being a member of the Black Eyed Peas. Then she ventured out on her own as a solo artist, creating hits from “Fergalicious,” to”Big Girls Don’t Cry,” and “Glamorous.”
She’s also a fashion fiend and has expressed her love of gorgeous clothing and shoes on numerous occasions. I mean, come on, one of her song tracks is entitled, “Glamorous.” So, it was no surprise that recently she started Fergie, a shoe collection of her own in partnership with Nordstrom and People reported that she discussed the line’s “recessionista-friendly line from $69-$129 which includes everything from signature zip-up gladiator heels to chic flats to strappy sandals adorned with peace signs and sneakers emblazoned with the singer’s initials.”
At at a recent signing at the Grove in LA, Fergie drove home the message that she knows that times are tough right now and said, “I would feel really irresponsible right now to have a line that was completely out of my fans’ price range, so I feel really good about it.”
But what about the new do’, Mrs. Fergie Ferg? She says,
“It’s kind of a new era for me. I’m married, new Black Eyed Peas, getting back with them. I’m in a new place in my life and just evolving, and I wanted a change. And I’m not scared of change at all.”
Sounds like change isn’t so scary after all.
