Oldest Person In The World Turns 130

Sakhan Dosova will turn 130 years-old this week making her the oldest human on record. The Kazakhstan native attributes her unbelievable longevity to a good sense of humor and not eating sweets. If that doesn’t impress you, Dosova has never visited a doctor in her lifetime.

I can’t even begin to imagine what this woman has seen in her lifetime. She was born in 1879. That’s 14 years after the American Civil War and 50 years before The Great Depression. My only question was how were they able to verify her age? Come to find out that she was listed on former dictator Josef Stalin’s census in 1926, listing her at 47 years-old.

Her passport and identity card also show her birth date as March 27, 1879. Amazing…This is one remarkable woman!

  1. Hello Dosova, Happy birth day. It is a good thing, good news to heard that you are still very much around. may God grand you more days. It is a good lesson for we young one not to love sweet things much any long in order to prolong our days.

Mam, we all love you .

  2. I am from the Bahamas and it is good to see that God has spared your life to see 130. My great grandmother was born in 1875. We are to take pattern after you and do not eat sweets, to prolong our lives and to know that good humor is also a very good thing. May God continue to bless you.
