HBO Movie About The Clintons

That’s the word on the street. And who is going to play the role of The Clintons you ask, non-other than Dennis Quaid and one of my favorite actresses Julianne Moore.

The title of the movie will most likely be called “The Special Relationship”. No, not the one between Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, but rather between Bill Clinton and the former Prime Minister of Britain, Tony Blair.

Along with Quaid and Moore will be Martin Sheen playing the role of Tony Blair. Sheen is best known for his roles in “The Queen” and “Frost/Nixon”. Speaking of Frost/Nixon, Peter Morgan who wrote that movie is also set to write the script for “The Special Relationship”.

Supposedly, HBO has not given the green light for the movie. However, with Quaid and Moore attached, I can’t see why they would not go ahead with it.

We’ll see how this story plays out, but once I hear it’s been given the thumbs up, I’ll be looking forward to watching it. Stay tuned!
