The 38th Annual Juno Awards takes place this weekend March 29th in Vancouver, BC. The Juno Awards is the premiere Canadian Music Award Ceremony highlighting all of Canada’s hottest musicians. Often referred to as Canada’s version of the Grammy’s, the Juno Awards feature artists you may have never heard or seen before. International super groups such as Coldplay and Gun’s and Roses lead the pack for international nominations.

The Award show will be broadcast on Canada’ CTV on March 29th, check your local listings for exact times. Festivities started yesterday and are expected to go throughout the weekend. More than 20,000 eager fans and musicians fill the streets of Vancouver, celebrating there countries music.

I think it would be interesting to see how much different the music really is between Canada and America. I’ve never really spent the time to listen to Canadian music, mostly because I never really knew it existed. Except for Celine Dion and Avril Lavigne oh yeah and Nelly Furtado. Am I forgetting anyone else?
