True Mom Confessions is a popular website where real mom’s can come and post their frustrations anonymously. Frustrations such as “I dream about getting to go to work full-time! I’m a mom to four who has been home for 15 years and I’m going crazy.” or “My son went to prison for 5 years, I don’t know how to handle this.” You know, “The Yellow Wallpaper” kind of stuff. The site gives mom’s a therapeutic venue to vent, but also a place to see that they’re not alone in their frustrations. That being a mother is not always easy.

Well, as any huge internet-meme eventually does, there is now a book coming out. The book is titled “True Mom Confessions: Real Moms Get Real” and is available for pre-order on Amazon. So now non-internet using mothers, new and old alike, can discover what the average mom in America really feels like. Maybe not the best gift for a baby shower, but then again, why not? No reason to hide from what motherhood can really be like.
