Another Celebrity Cosmetic Line – Salma Hayek

Paris Hilton, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, and JLo have their fragrance lines, Daisy Fuentes has her hair care line, Kimora Lee Simmons has her Baby Phat line, but also her new line for teens, Fabulosity, and the list goes on. Now we are hearing about a new cosmetic line that Salma Hayek will be coming out with soon.

Salma recently had an interview with People and she leaked the news about creating this new line. Hence the times, she is working with a drugstore chain for distribution and of course for affordability. She said that the line would have the high-end essence of the expensive lines, but with affordable prices.

I think her biggest competitor will be Oil of Olay. They have won a ton of awards for the quality and results of their products. Their whole premise is luxurious, high-end quality products with sleek packaging and they have done an amazing job. I believe her line will sell because of her name being attached, but we’ll see how well it does.
