Gwyneth Paltrow, actress/wife/mother/blogger… and now fashion designer? She’s the Oscar-winning actress and wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, has named a child after a piece of fruit, and most recently grabbed headlines with her new lifestyle blog called Goop.com where she dishes about recipes, workout tips, and more. And though I applaud her efforts to be active on the blogosphere and extend beyond her acting skills, it seems as though she is unaware of the current Economic crisis with her mentions of luxury items and trips. Then again, she is a celebrity and makes loads of cash so you can’t exactly blame the woman.
She’s also making her mark as a designer as People.com reports that she will be designing a collection with French label, ZOEtee’s called “ZOEtee’s LOVES Gwyneth.” The collection will consist of “casual basics, evening dresses, and taking inspiration from 70′s glam and rock n’ roll with tight-fitting styles and asymmetrical cuts.”
You do have to give Gwyneth credit though as she was involed in the entire process from conception to production and all the proceeds from the ZOETee’s LOVES Gwyneth line will be going to the charity, KidsCompany. Is a Gwyneth Paltrow Collection next on the production line? I guess we’ll find out on GOOP.com.
